mRemoteNG

Create and manage a list of remote connections – that is, in a nutshell, the functionality you can expect to get from mRemoteNG. It must be mentioned here that mRemoteNG is a free tool and a fork of mRemote. It must also be mentioned that the original mRemote is no longer supported and development ceased in 2009. That is not the case for mRemoteNG, however, which is being actively developed and supported.

mRemoteNG is available as an installer and as a portable version. Here on FindMySoft you can get the installer (a 2.9MB executable). If you want the portable version, you can get it from the application’s official website.

On the left hand side of the application’s interface you will see two panels:
Connections – lists all your remote connections.
Config – the configuration settings you can play with.
Select a connection from the list, run the Connect function, and the large panel to the right will be populated with information.

The application’s interface can be customized. You can choose one of numerous supported languages, you can create a new theme, and you can specify what elements will be presented on the application’s interface. The Config panel I mentioned above, you can choose to hide if out of sight if you so desire. And speaking about the Config panel, it allows you to name a connection, enter a hostname or IP, pick a protocol, and more.

Released under a GNU General Public License, mRemoteNG is freeware. If you find the application useful and you would like to support its development, consider making a donation.
